The Church of the Incarnation and Bradley’s Buddies are partnering in an event to raise awareness and funds to benefit pediatric oncology research and celebrate hope in the midst of adversity.

Hope Lives On, a Church of the Incarnation benefit concert, will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 in Mantua, NJ. A choir of over 200 voices and full orchestra representing three churches, three schools, and 10 communities, from the tri-state area will assemble to perform an evening of music featuring:

Thanks to the The Wenonah Women’s Club, volunteers and most importantly the donors who made this years blood drive a big success. This year The Wenonah Women’s Club collected 114 units, an increase of 16 units from the 2007 blood drive!

Everyone had a great time at the Riversharks game June 3rd and all proceeds went to Tim Toussaint a 2007 Gateway Regional High School Graduate who was diagnosed with Leukemia to help defray the cost of his health care.

Thanks to all who bought tickets and vouchers and came out for the game!

Join Bradley’s Buddies Family Fund at Campbell’s field on Tuesday, June 3rd. The fun will begin at 7:05 PM when the Camden Riversharks take on the Lancaster Barnstormers. 

The proceeds will go Tim Toussaint a 2007 Gateway Regional High School Graduate who was diagnosed with Leukemia. Proceeds will be used to defray the cost of health care.

3rd Annual Bradley’s Buddies 5K Run/Walk Sunday Sept 28th 2008

Bradley’s Buddies supports Leukemia research and families with childhood cancer.  A special Thank You to Bradley’s Buddies who have made it possible:

• Donated $23,000 to CHOP for leukemia research

• Created the inspiring “walkway to the cure” by the butterfly garden at Wenonah School

• Provided good sportsmanship awards to Wenonah School and Gateway Regional high school seniors

• Supported Wenonah Woman’s Club blood drive and platelet drive in memory of Bradley

• Made donations to five local families with Childhood Cancer

• Participated in “Relay for Live” American Cancer Society

All of this is only possible because of Bradley’s Buddies volunteers and sponsors.  Please join us as a volunteer!

The Wenonah Women’s Club is running a blood drive on May 29th. Bradley’s Buddies and Home and school of Wenonah want to support the Blood drive by increasing donations that are in constant demand. 

As you know throughout Bradley’s battle with Leukemia he received the best care at CHOP and depended upon the generosity of blood donors to get him through treatments. Chemotherapy kills cancer cells with the unfortunate side effects of killing good cells ( RBC, WBC and platelets). During Bradley’s treatment he received: 21 red blood cell transfusions, 41 platelet transfusions and 10 units of fresh frozen plasma. We are very grateful to all donors of blood products. Part of Bradley’s Buddies Non-profit missions is to help patients undergoing oncology care. 

In 2007 we donated 98 units thanks to all the Donors. We will be looking for a great turn out again this year.  If you would like to help with the blood drive by calling potential donors and scheduling them for an appointment, please let us know by sending an email to us Blood Drive.
